Mark Gayowski

Pharmacist and Owner

Mark graduated from University of Toronto in 1982 and began working in his father’s business Lays Pharmacy in Beamsville. Afer 10 years, he purchased Paramount Pharmacy. While being active in his business, he has also been the President of Hamilton District Pharmacists Association as well as served on the Pharmasave’s Ontario Board of Directors. Mark is also a licensed pilot and enjoys spending time with his three sons. Mark is also a grandfather to two small children!  His love for travel and photography keeps him very busy when not running a highly successful business.

Deanna Shweihat

Consulting Pharmacist

Deanna grew up in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island where she graduated from the University of PEI with a bachelor in Chemistry minor in Mathematics. She then decided to pursue a career in Pharmacy. She attended Dalhouise University and Halifax graduating in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. She has worked 8 years in Pharmacy, 6 of those years being at Paramount Pharmasave. She is a very compassionate person and takes her time with every patient. She is a proud mother of 2 and lives by the words “Family First.”

Alison Latulippe

Pharmacy Assistant

Alison has worked for Pharmasave for about 6 years and began her career as a Customer Service Representative. For the past year she has recieved on the job training to work in the dispensary as a Pharmacy Assisstant. She has excellent knowledge of our front store products and can help you find anything you need in a jiffy.  She is a Hamilton lifer, born & raised. She is the mother of a beautiful little girl and energetic son and lives for “Family First”.  In her spare time she enjoys playing sports and is now taking up hunting.

Josie Langdon

Cosmetician

Josie is our Cosmetic manager. She is a mother of 2 children, both in high school. She has been a part of the Pharmasave family for over 4 years. She has a very bubbly personality and is willing to help you with any of your cosmetic needs.  Her expertise and keen eye for fashion and accessories keep the department up beat and alive with new trends.  Need a makeover?, Josie’s skills are second to none.  Visit Josie and ask her all of your make up and fashion questions; you won’t be disappointed.

Barb Barr

Customer Service Representative

Barb was born in Hamilton however has lived all over North America! We are pleased that Barb has chosen to be with us for over 8 years. She is very eager to help you with any task given. She has a very positive happy go lucky attitude and will always greet you with a “Hello”. Customer Service is number one priority for Barb and will always do her best to get you any product you need whether we have it on the shelf or not. Barb is a mother of 2 teenagers and will do anything for her family. 

Sheila Risidore

Shipper/Receiver/P.O.S. clerk

Sheila grew up in Hamilton, and has worked 21 years in pharmacy including working with Paramount Pharmasave since the beginning in 1992. She started as a cashier, before moving on to be the shipper/receiver. She is responsible for receiving front and back orders. She also oversees POS Maintenance. She enjoys working with the Pharmasave staff. She has 4 children and 8 grandchildren, who keep her extremely busy as an avid spectator of soccer, volleyball, baseball and hockey games.

Debra Terryberry

Home Health Care Manager

Deb is our new Home Health Care Consultant.  She graduated from College in the Administrative Health  Coordinator Program, and has 15 years work experience in Home Health Care.  Deb is our Certified Vascular Compression Fitter.  She also specializes in fitting specialty braces and mobility equipment to suit your needs.  When Deb isn’t busy at the rink or pool with her two sons, you will find her volunteering at the local Library.

Karin Primorac

Front Store Merchandise Manager

Karin was born and raised in Hamilton. She graduated from Mohawk College from the Advertising & Marketing program . Her first pharmacy job was with Big V Drug Stores for 19 years, before joining Paramount Pharmacy for the last 18 years. Her job includes purchasing the front shop inventory and maintaining a unique shopping experience for everyone. Karin is in charge of all front shop staff, scheduling, merchandising and the day to day details. 

Although very passionate about volleyball, she no longer plays competitively or coaches but supports her beloved McMaster Marauders and Smash Volleyball teams as a specatator.  When not riding her bike, Karin enjoys every available moment at her beloved cottage near Parry Sound

Margaret Emery

Accounts Manager/Bookkeeper

Margaret was born in the Netherlands but raised in Hamilton. She took a 2 year Accounting program at Mohawk College. She has worked over 20 years at Paramount Pharmasave, where she is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, along with 3rd party reconciliation. She is a proud mother of her 2 adult children, and recently became Oma for the first time!
